The Hillgrove Babydoll Sheep Stud is now 104 years old!
Hillgrove Babydoll Sheep Stud was established in 1921 and is one of the oldest sheep studs in Australia.
Hillgrove has maintained the tradition of breeding the smaller type of Southdown
which are now internationally known as Babydoll Sheep.
Hillgrove Babydoll Sheep Stud is one of the biggest and definitely the oldest, Babydoll sheep stud in Australia.
We are proud to continue the fine tradition of breeding Babydolls under the prefix of Hillgrove.
We are located close to the Murray River, near Moama in NSW and Echuca in Vic.
Our Babydoll Sheep are fully registered with the Australian Stud Sheep Breeders Association (ASSBA), we
have full Brucellosis Accreditation (OB 19/10) and vaccinate against OJD. We are also members of the Babydoll Sheep Association of Australia Inc (BSAA), the Local Land Services: Murray River
and Meat and Livestock Australia.
Our Property Identification Code (PIC) is NB200989.
We are always happy to chat about our Babydolls so please contact us if you have any questions or
